El Vigor2820 es un router preparado con un puerto USB para conexiones de Internet 3G de banda ancha. Ademas cuanta con doble puerto WAN para ADSL y ADSL2, cuenta con un puerto RJ11(modem incluido) y un puerto RJ45 (necesita un modem) para conectarlos al Internet, al contar con el Dual WAN puede tener politicas de balanceo de cargas, y tambien incluye administracion avanzada de ancho de banda como el QoS, limitación de sesión NAT, etc. Permite una facil, fiable y flexible administracion y control del ancho de banda.

Aplicaciones de VPN y Firewall

El Vigor2820 soporta hasta 32 túneles VPN mediante el uso de avanzados protocolos como IPSec / PPTP y L2TP y L2TP sobre IPSec con AES / DES / 3DES para el cifrado y MD5 o SHA-1 para la autentificación.

El CSM permite características más precisas y eficaces en el control del acceso de URL / filtrado de contenidos Web, mensajería instantánea y aplicaciones P2P.
